About me

Hello guys, my name is Assiya Ajakan, and I am a student at Montmorency College. In this big school with lots of programs, I chose Tourism. I have been studying that program for less than a year, since August/September 2021, so it has been about a semester. Tourism is such a big world, so it has a LOT of jobs: flight attendant, hotel manager, valet, event planner, entertainment manager, restaurant manager, and I could name many other ones. The courses we have to complete are just to prepare us for the world of Tourism, such as The World's Destinations, Customer Service, etc. It also has other courses that other students at the College usually have to complete too, like English, Literature, P.E, etc. There's also numerous internships available for tourism students.

About this blog

My blog will pretty much be about things related to the world of tourism: travelling, other cultures/languages, internships, jobs that you can do after/during your semesters, etc. Therefore, students in the same program as me, people that plan to be in it, or even people that simply love travelling and that stuff could be interested in my blog. Since tourism is both my current program and my passion, it's honestly a two-in-one. Since I'm not perfectly fluent in English, I plan on using different tools that could help me correct my writing, and even improve myself, for example the website called Virtual Writing Tutor.
